Wiff Waff
Description
School project. The task was to create a poster, animations, web banner and a logo for an outdoor table tennis event in Conpenhagen.
Table tennis has its origins in England and was invented around the dining table back in the 19th Century. Previously, the sport was referred to as wiff waff, a name derived from the sound that occur when playing.
I wanted to create a playful and youth-appealing visual style. It was important that it did not only appeared as a sporting event, but also got the cultural aspects examined in order to awaken interest in table tennis among people who are new to the game.
